Everything you need to know about using CrossTalk

Getting Started

1. Install the Bot

Click the "Add to Discord" button on our homepage and select the server where you want to install CrossTalk. Make sure you have the "Manage Server" permission.

Required Permissions:

  • View Channels
  • Send Messages
  • Manage Webhooks
  • Manage Messages (for deletion sync)

2. Create Your First Route

Routes define how messages are translated between channels. Here's how to create one:

  1. Use the command /crosstalk add
  2. Give your route a unique name (e.g., "english-to-spanish")
  3. Select the source channel and language
  4. Select the target channel and language
  5. Confirm the route creation

3. Test Your Setup

Send a message in your source channel and watch it appear translated in the target channel!
